The partnership consists of 5 organisations coming from 5 different countries:
1) Polish Foundation of the Opportunities Industrialization Centres "OIC Poland" - Poland (Lead Partner) www.oic.lublin.pl OIC Poland Foundation, from 1991 acting for economic and social progress in the south-eastern Poland, belongs to the leading group of training organisations at the Lublin region market. The main aim of the OIC Poland Foundation is prevention of unemployment and fostering economic development by implementation of the educational and counselling programmes, targeted at a great scale at SMEs in the region - has been attained through two basic streams: * unique enterprises (courses, seminars, conferences, counselling, complex projects) addressed to SME owners, professionals, certain underprivileged groups in the community, aiming at creation of employment and self-employment opportunities, dissemination of knowledge and good practices and human resources development. * educational services - commercial offers of training services both for individuals interested in acquiring new skills or qualifications and companies and institutions ordering tailored training for their employees. One of the most important projects implemented by the OIC Poland Foundation is High School of Economics and Innovation in Lublin. The Foundation co-operates with 300 high-qualified experts/trainers who are employed by the Foundation recurrently for the projects. The application of strict evaluation system enables OIC Poland Foundation to improve its products and adjusts them to the changing market as well as to the needs and expectations of the training participants. Promoter expertise, working procedures and connections enable him to evaluate and disseminate project results at each stage of its implementation and carry on application of tools mutually acquired by project partnership in SME sector afterwards. 2) Syntra West vzw - Belgia - www.syntrawest.be 1. Description of the organisation Syntra West is a not for profit organisation set up in 1960 in the Province of West-Flanders, Belgium which is providing 3,5 million training hours every year for about 55,000 trainees. We are working with 2,000 part-time trainers and a staff of 205 persons. There are 6 training campuses. Our target groups are company managers, senior staff and employees of small and medium-sized companies. Besides, we are making our know-how and structure available towards non-profit organisations and public enterprises. The offer is made up of short term and long term training sessions, initiation, rush courses, broken down into 4 groups: § Technical training sessions in 200 professions § Management training § IT training § Specific language courses Also for professional and specialised tuition, individual training and follow opportunities are available. There are three levels of training: § Apprenticeship: learning a trade on-the-job whilst completing compulsory education § Business training: business economy and business techniques for self-employed people, employees, managers and SME-staff § Extra training and upgrading: short term training sessions for established self-employed people, employees, managers and SME-staff Syntra West is acknowledged for receiving training cheques and is ISO 9001-certified. The departments Management and Informatics are also Q*For-certified. 2. Project experience Syntra West disposes of a specific department called the "Project Office" which has a long-lasting experience in writing and co-ordinating EU-funded projects with a national, European, bilateral or international character. Syntra West has been carrying out through the years more than 50 projects. We received the title 'ESF Ambassador 2005', for our developed tool to detect the competences of SME-workers. 3) GEA College PIC d.o.o. - Słowenia - www.gea-college.si GEA College is a business - education, small sized company. In cooperation with GEA College of Entrepreneurship it's the biggest bidder of entrepreneurial, management and business courses in Slovenia and South-Eastern Europe. All courses and workshops are based on permanent needs analysis, permanent development and updating. More than 150 shorter functional programs represent the wide base of entrepreneurial and managerial knowledge, that could be transferred also to foreign countries. Through the programs participants (from economic and public sector) are improving their competence, knowledge and information base. In 18 years of operation the wide partner's network has been built. GEA College also has experience in European projects (Phare-Mocca, Tempus, European Social Fund, Stability Pact…), as both, co-ordinator and partner. For the WITCH project, it will also use its contacts to public authorities such as the Ministry of Labour of Slovenia. 4) Rh Redes - Educaçao, Formaçao e Consultoria, Lda. - Portugalia Rh Redes - Education, Training and Consultancy, Lda. was created in the year 2004 with the objectives as follows: - organization, management and development of education and training activities; - organization, management and development of consultancy activities on the extent of human resources, business and management; - organization, management and development of leisure time activities; - promotion and conception of studies, analysis and reports. Rh Redes is managing its activity in the business areas as follows: - Training and education activities - Evaluation of Projects - Conception of projects to present to national and communitarian authorities for grant - Studies (market, training needs, economic and feasility, regional development) - Quality certification implementation for enterprises and organizations 5) a3 networking ingeniería del conocimiento S.L. - Hiszpania - www.a3net.net a3 networking ingeniería del conocimiento, S.L. (www.a3net.net), specialises in the engineering of training to provide pedagogical solutions to develop the microcompetences of trainers, employees and managers. Our team has been professional involved in continuous vocational training initiatives since 1.983, facilitating the access of SME's to the Information Technology Society and the design of eLearning solutions. a3 networking, S.L., is based in Barcelona, Spain and is also networking with experts throughout Europe and Latin America. During the Olympic games of Barcelona'92, a3 networking, S.L. provided training for 5.000 experts for the Transport and Logistic Department of COOB'92. Our main areas of business include: Advanced services for training, Knowledge management, research and development for e-learning and teleworking and producing training packages for SME's. A3 networking, S.L., has been involved -as partner and contractor- in several Leonardo Da Vinci Projects providing solutions for SME's and eLearning since 1996.
