The conference entitled "Competencies of the managers of small and medium sized enterprises" took place in Lublin on 10th February 2011. It was focused on presentation of the M-ASTRA project results, especially the ICT tool for competence level assessment of the managers of small and medium sized enterprises. Direct link between managerial competence assessment and a training plan tailored up to the needs of the tested individual is the main innovative asset of the M-ASTRA tool.

Managers of small and medium-sized companies are invited to assess their managerial competence by the M-ASTRA tool.
M-ASTRA tool is a quick and cheap way to assess the managerial competencies. It measures the level of general and technical competencies that are essential in the management process. It diagnoses the strengths and competence gaps and indicates how they can be completed.
Please register to assess your managerial competences.

The next project meeting took part in Portugal (Braga) on the 4th of June 2010. The meeting was focused on the electronic version of the tool for assessment of the managerial competence level. Nowadays the tool is tested by experts of the project partners.

The procedure of testing a questionnaire by SME managers has been finished. The sample was composed of 60 managers in every country (Poland, Belgium, Slovenia, Spain and Portugal). The project partners have tested 300 managers. Nowadays the experts are conducting the statistical and psychometrical analysis to define reliability and accuracy of the tool and the desired level of each competence.

Being a successful manager of a small and medium-sized company, you should have some entrepreneurial competences! The M-ASTRA partnership wants to find out to what extent these competences should be present in order to be a successful SME-manager.
Herewith you find a questionnaire by which you assess yourself on a number of statements. You do not have to write things yourself. You just move the slidebar to the right position.
